Stories

1. These stories are based on characters and situations created and owned by JK Rowling, various publishers including but not limited to Bloomsbury Books, Scholastic Books and Raincoast Books, and Warner Bros., Inc. No money is being made and no copyright or trademark infringement is intended. If the story happens to be a song-fic, the song belongs to the band that it originates from.

2. These stories are all written by Alabaster Storm, Nicole Knorzer, or Catalina Royce. While they are fanfiction, and therefore the characters and places do not belong to us, the actual stories do. Please do not copy our work.

3. If you do not like the pairings on this site, do not flame us for pairing them. Both Quiescence and our host site Never Established encourage tolerance. If you don't wish to read the pairing, just hit the back button -- or don't enter the story at all.

4. Criticism, even harsh criticism is fine. As writers we welcome the chance to improve our skill. However, we will not tolerate vicious, unfounded flames. Ever.

Banners

Please don't try to direct link our banners. That's stealing bandwidth, and it's illegal. Instead, save the banner(s) to your own PC and upload them to your own server. There are several good free image hosting sites if you can't do that, particularly image shack.

Feel free to adapt the banners to your site. However, keep in mind that these banners were made for Quiescence, by the Quiescence writers [unless otherwise stated] so don't claim them as your own work.

The images available are made by Cat, and remain copywritten to her. Stock photos are taken from various places. Feel free to use the wallpapers for your personal use.

Ratings

At this moment, we have a ratings system in place. However, we do not enforce it; it is up to your discretion as to what you read. We accept no responsibility for what you read if the rating is there. The ratings are as follows:

G: For General audience.
PG: Parental guidance recommended. Some mature themes may be implied or dealt with.
PG-13: Parental guidance recommended for children under 13. Mature themes will most probably be dealt with in some form, and language and sexual overtones will often take place.
R: For mature audiences only. Explicit mature themes and language.
